We followed Erik Nohlin and Recep Yeşil, both part of the developer team around the Specialized AWOL, on their idea to ride the first Transcontinental Race from Londo to Istanbul within two weeks — overcomin more than 3,100 kilometer, 30,000 meter of altitude gain and 14 european borders — unsupported, following a route of their choice.
It has been a wild and inspirational journey in so many ways.

ROCKVILLE

A short film with BICICLISTA

Amidst the seemingly endless fields of the north Italian Po Valley you find Villa Rocca — a 20 people strong village, dominated by a 500-year-old, inexorably crumbling castle.

For one day a year, the magical morbid place comes to life, when a colorful bunch of velophile Italians convert the castle grounds into a single speed cyclocross course.

Shot on location in Villarocca, Italy.

Official selection at BICYCLE FILM FESTIVAL NYC 2012 part of the worldwide festival program 2012/2013.

LENGTH OF SWEDEN is an endurance ride documentary — following Erik Nohlin, Rita Jett and Kristian Hallberg on the 2,100 km Sverigetempot randonée along the spine of sparsely populated Scandinavia.

All three riders would crack a nut like this without talking about it. But these very thoughts that comes up when you’re riding long distance, the mental road you roll behind your comfort zone, all tunnels you ride into—we wanted to document.

Premiere screenings in Los Angeles, London & Gothenburg; online release 2017 January 21—22 on Specialized.com
